Things around Hualien

You would think that a big pile of purses just dumped on the sidewalk would be cheap knockoffs. These were probably knockoffs, but they were not cheap. Most were at least $3000NT (~$100US).
Then there is the fun with mangled English that can be found everywhere. This hat in particular caught our eye. It says AssAssin. I know it's an actual word, but the way it is scripted in gold on the hat surrounded by pink swirlys and stars and whatever else screams to me that the person making this hat has no idea what the word means.

So one of the more entertaining bits of randomness we saw in our wanderings of Hualien was this marble book.
