Looks like . . .Sun?

Today I bring to you the phenomenon of ladies with umbrellas. Now I realize this doesn't seem all that interesting, but if you can't tell from the picture it's actually sunny out and there are no clouds in the sky. This is exactly why these Taiwanese ladies are holding umbrellas up. Pale is the desired skin color and instead of putting sunblock on the skin that may be exposed to the sun they carry umbrellas. Sunblock is really overpriced here, so I think that's part of the reason so many ladies opt for umbrellas. I tried it once thinking that holding the umbrella would block out the sun and cool me off a bit. It did not, so I was just as hot and sweaty and wasting energy holding that damn umbrella up.
