So after dinner at the famous restaurant we decided to go wandering around and see if we could find a night market. We got directions and headed off. We did indeed find a night market, but it wasn't the one we were hoping for. We ended up on a street with a bunch of food vendors selling fresh seafood. Most of the fish were still in tanks swimming around. By the way getting a plate of cooked shrimp that hasn't had anything removed yet is a bit disturbing.
Anywhooo. . . we get to the end of the street and are trying to decide what to do next when I notice a cow on the next street. Having lived in Wisconsin for the last ten years I was compelled to go check it out.
It turns out that it's an ice cream store. What a lovely idea. They have all the standard fare, shakes and sundaes etc. I got a chocolate and red wine sundae. It was vanilla ice cream with chocolate shavings and red wine syrup. Tasted mostly like vanilla milk until I hit the bottom where are the sauce was.
