Transformer?

I don't know what this man is actually promoting, but he was surrounded by small children that were very excited to see him. He looks a little like a power ranger with the helmet, but he's been encased in cardboard boxes. If anyone knows what he's supposed to be please let me know.

that is a tough one. There are several things that come to mind that he might be. Transformer, some random anime robot character...Although, it does look like the is wearing an Optimus Prime mask.....
